I am Victoria, and I am a Swim Teacher at Rainbow Bay Swim School.
My daughter is on the Spectrum and has ADHD, and when she first started swimming lessons it was far from a fun experience for her or us. We moved from swim school to swim school hoping the next would bring us some degree of success. Then we found Rainbow Bay Swim School with its small class sizes, a heated indoor pool, and most importantly, this family run centre has a calm and inclusive environment.
It was sitting on the side of the pool watching my daughter’s progress (with both her water skills and her social interaction) that motivated me to become a Swim Teacher. I remember thinking of all the various strategies our Therapists have taught us to use with our daughter and how they could be incorporated into a swim lesson… and now I am an Autism Swim certified swim teacher; that is exactly what I do!
I love teaching children of all ages and abilities such an important life skill and watching their progress makes my day. I have a patient and nurturing approach to my teaching and the most important aspect of my lessons is making sure we are having fun whilst staying safe.
I look forward to working with your family and supporting you to reach your child’s individualised learn to swim goals.

“Victoria was an absolute delight as our boys’ teacher. Patient, fun, consistent, caring…everything you’d hope for in an instructor! xoxoxoxox”
“Victoria is a very caring and patient swimming teacher at Jump Mornington. She has been so great with our son who was very nervous and unsure of the water at first. Victoria was very understanding towards his fears and reassured him.
Our son now looks forward to his swimming classes.”
