Felix Mwanzi
I have been teaching swimming for around 11 years and I have progressed to teaching swimming for everyone. I am an Autism Swim Approved Provider and a teacher who is passionate about teaching students and teachers how to love and be safer in water as my motto is “safety first”.

I have worked with a number of swim schools providing a range of aquatic learning experiences.
I currently work at Young Talent Aquatics as a teacher and providing support to other teachers.

I have experience teaching students with a range of levels of physical, social and emotional ability.
I firmly believe swimming should be fun, safe, and for everyone and this can only be achieved through positive and supportive learning environment.

I also practice long term athlete development (LTAD) ensuring that skills learned are practiced, sharpened until competitive level, ensuring learners have fun as well as learning.

CURRENT QUALIFICATIONS

– Swimming teacher with specialization in infants, beginners, intermediate, competitive and adults.
– Autism Swim Certified
– First Aid
– Lifeguard
– Certificate in Sports Administration and Management
– Certificate in Early Childhood Education

Experience in teaching aquatic skills to people living with a range of conditions such as ADHD, Anxiety,Down Syndrome, Sensory processing (integration) disorder, group classes for children and adults.
