At Geelong Aquatic Centre we care about each student’s individual learning. Our Swordfish program is a personalised learn-to-swim program for students with medical conditions and/or disabilities.

Our learn-to-swim program is in either individual or small group classes (max of 3), depending on the student’s needs and ability. Our dedicated staff ensure that all children achieve their potential in a safe and fun environment.

We aim to provide students with a tailored learn to swim program that will give water awareness, personal safety skills, and extend already acquired swimming skills, with a high level of enjoyment.

This program is available from toddler to adult, all abilities and NDIS funding may apply to some students depending on circumstances.  The Swordfish Program runs Monday to Saturday, with majority of classes running on Saturday afternoon from 12:30pm.

Accessibility: Wheelchair access, hoist available, warm pool temperatures, railing on stairs and floatation equipment available for mobility challenges.
